Empowering Futures, Nurturing Dreams
At SEENCH, we believe in the transformative power of education. We envision a future where every individual, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to thrive and succeed. Through our relentless dedication to empowerment and hope, we are pioneering change in the tribal villages of Karjat and beyond.
SEENCH annually impacts nearly 600 tribal children over 25 villages/sub-villages. We believe, our collective efforts lay the foundation for thriving communities and empowered individuals.
What We Do
How We Serve The Community
At SEENCH, we work towards making the environment conducive to education and holistic growth, and work hard to ensure our kids stay excited and equipped to learn and grow.
Teachers
Our SEENCH Shakhas initiative employs dedicated teachers who deliver training to children on numeracy, literacy skills, digital education and sports.
Transportation
We operate buses and vans across two shifts daily to facilitate the journey of middle and high school students, overcoming the challenging terrain.
Material
We equip our schools, teachers and students with notebooks, books, stationery, sports equipment, computers, printers, and e-learning resources to ensure a comprehensive educational experience for all.
Requirements of Children
We provide all children with uniforms, water bottles, school bags, pencils, pens, pouches, raincoats, rain sandals, and umbrellas to ensure that the children have what they need to attend school and also stay excited to be a part of it.
Repairs & Maintenance
Rains often play havoc with the school infrastructure and we support the schools with repair and maintenance work, to keep the learning environment safe and conducive.
Engagement
We regularly engage with all stakeholders, including students, government teachers, SEENCH teachers, village elders, and village heads to keep all those involved happy to be associated with the good work being done.

SEENCH stands as a guiding light of hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives in Karjat through the power of education. Nestled in the heart of rural Maharashtra, SEENCH was born over a decade ago out of a collective passion to uplift the underserved youth of this region. Our journey is etched with stories of resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment to creating a brighter future for the children and young adults of Karjat.
Educational Outreach
Through partnerships with local schools and community centers, we deliver educational workshops, tutoring sessions, and mentorship programs to supplement classroom learning. Our aim is not only to enhance academic performance but also to instill confidence, critical thinking skills, and a love for learning.
Scholarship Programs
We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to pursue their dreams. That’s why we offer scholarships to promising students from low-income backgrounds, covering tuition fees, books, and other educational expenses. By removing financial barriers, we open doors to higher education and brighter futures.
Skill Development Initiatives
In collaboration with local businesses and vocational training centers, we provide skill development workshops and vocational courses to equip young adults with the practical skills needed for employment or entrepreneurship. Established nearly a decade and a half ago in rural Maharashtra, SEENCH was born from a collective passion to uplift underserved youth and empower them to break the cycle of poverty. Our journey is filled with stories of resilience, determination, and a steadfast commitment to creating a brighter future for the children and young adults of Karjat. We believe that education is the foundation of empowerment and progress, and through our initiatives, we provide quality education, holistic development opportunities, and essential resources to foster growth, self-sufficiency, and community well-being.

In the pursuit of fostering thriving communities, SEENCH has been actively engaged in various impactful activities and infrastructure projects. From repairing primary schools to donating water tankers, these endeavours aim to uplift the lives of individuals and contribute to sustainable development
Repair and Revitalization of Primary Schools
- SEENCH undertook the repair and revitalization of primary schools in underserved areas.
- Through thorough assessments, damaged infrastructures such as classrooms, roofs, and sanitation facilities are identified and addressed.
- Skilled labour and quality materials are employed to ensure lasting improvements, fostering conducive learning environments for children.
- By investing in education infrastructure, SEENCH strives to promote access to quality education, empowering future generations with the tools for success.
Creation & Maintenance of Infrastructure
- Recognizing the vital importance of access to clean water, SEENCH constructed water tanks to schools facing water supply issues.
- Water Tanks: To ensure consistent access to clean water, SEENCH India Foundation has installed water tanks in schools, addressing a critical need for safe drinking water and supporting the daily requirements of students and staff. This initiative enhances hygiene standards and contributes to a healthier learning environment.
- Wall compound: constructed secure compound walls around school premises, creating a safe and protected area for students to learn and play. These walls also help safeguard school infrastructure and reinforce the commitment to providing a secure educational environment.
- Waterproofing of roof: We’ve undertaken waterproofing projects to protect school roofs, ensuring classrooms remain dry and functional throughout all seasons. This essential maintenance work prevents leaks, enhances durability, and helps create a comfortable space conducive to uninterrupted learning.
- Painting of schools: To cultivate an inspiring and welcoming atmosphere, SEENCH has painted school buildings, transforming them into vibrant spaces. A fresh coat of paint not only uplifts the aesthetics of the school but also fosters a sense of pride and motivation among students and staff alike.
